Venice is for maximalists and that is what is so liberating about being there. Everywhere you turn there is something to see and immerse yourself in. But a common thread is your orientation to the canal, the stonework around you and the inevitable march of the light. It ebbs and flows like the water across the city depending on the season, the time of day and the weather. This photograph was created in camera using alternative camera techniques such as multiple exposure and ICM (intentional camera movement) in the abstract impressionist style.
